    Criminal vs Civil Law
    刑法與民法

    Criminal law deals with crimes against society (theft, assault). The state prosecutes offenders. Civil law deals with disputes between individuals (contracts, property). Individuals can sue each other in civil courts.

    刑法處理針對社會嘅犯罪(盜竊、襲擊)。國家起訴犯罪者。民法處理個人之間嘅爭議(合同、財產)。個人可以喺民事法院互相起訴。
