The Commonwealth

The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 56 countries, most of which were once part of the British Empire. The monarch is Head of the Commonwealth. Member countries cooperate on development, trade, and democracy.
英聯邦係由56個國家組成嘅自願聯盟，其中大多數曾係大英帝國嘅一部分。君主係英聯邦元首。成員國喺發展、貿易同民主方面合作。

The UK is a founding member of the UN (1945) and one of five permanent members of the UN Security Council (along with USA, Russia, France, and China). This gives the UK veto power over UN resolutions.
